Part of the vision of Square One for Youth is to help the youth of our community understand that there are a multitude of options out there for them when it comes time to leave the world of academia. By utilizing the COPES interest and aptitude system, we are able to help our students gain insight into career fields that they may be able to excel in.
Now, it is evident that our communities are in need of tradespeople. Though college is always an option for many people, learning a trade can be a fast track to acquiring a job, and eventually, making a career of that job. There are also many opportunities here in Gwinnett County for an apprenticeship. Local constituents have teamed up with Partnership Gwinnett to make these avenues of learning more accessible.
